VSG: Detox
Detox Smoothie
SERVES: 4 PREP
TIME: 5 MIN Gluten Free |
Soy Free | Raw (option)
Ingredients:
• 1 cup green tea,
chilled
• ½ cup kale,
frozen
• ½ cup broccoli,
frozen
• ½ banana, frozen
• 1 cup raspberries, blackberries
or strawberries, frozen
• 1 scoop of rice protein powder
• ½ cup ice
• Stevia, maple syrup,
or your favorite sweetener
to taste
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients
in a blender and blend until smooth.
Raw Variation: Replace maple
syrup with raw agave or dates. Use an unheated/
raw protein powder. Brew tea without heat
by soaking tea leaves in water and leaving
in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours.
Tip: Try using
stevia instead of maple syrup to reduce sugar
intake!
