Crushed Broccoli Coleslaw

Ingredients:
Salad:
• 1 cup raw broccoli, finely
chopped and smashed
• 1 cup raw cabbage,
finely chopped and smashed
• 1/4 cup dried cherries
(unsweetened is best)
• 1/4 cup crushed pecan
pieces (raw is best)
Dressing:
• 1/2 very ripe avocado, smashed
• 1 1/2 teaspoon apple cider
vinegar
• 1 tablespoons spicy mustard
• 2 teaspoons garlic,
crushed and
exposed to air
• 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
• 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 teaspoons maple syrup
Rich in: Sulphur compounds,
polyphenols and anti-microbial nutrients.
Directions:
1. Mix salad ingredients
together in a large bowl.
2. Mix dressing ingredients
thoroughly in a small bowl.
3. Combine dressing with
salad, toss, and serve.
Serve as a healthy and delicious appetizer
or side dish to brighten up any meal!
