Lentils
Cream (vegan & gluten free)
Ingredients:
- 100
g yellow lentils
- 200
ml water
- 3
tablespoons omega-3 oil
of your choice, like flax oil
- 1/2
teaspoon turmeric
- Salt
& pepper
Preparation:
Rinse the lentils well under running
water. Boil them with water and simmer
for another 10-15 minutes. Then pour
off the remaining water and add the
lentils in a narrow, high vessel.
The
lentils mix to a spicy paste along
with the turmeric. Now let the paste
to cool slightly, and then add the
omega-3 linseed oil and mix well.
The lentils cream should afterwards
have the consistency of mashed potatoes.
Optionally, you can give this a little
more omega 3 flaxseed oil.
Finally,
salt and pepper to taste and pour
into a glass.
