All
fruits are vegan, right? So
What's Your Favorite Fruit? And Why? |
|
While visiting family in
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (the city of the
2016 Olympics) I found some family
photos. Let me share...
My grandma liked seeing
me well dressed, like her. So one day
I did my best and tried on a beautiful
red dress, but I told grandma that I wouldn't
try any high heel shoes! They just didn't
feel right, and seemed like they would
hurt my body... so instead, we tried some
clear plastic beach sandals. ;)
And since my grandpa was
a businessman, as a kid, I used to hold
his calculator and help him with math.
One day at his house, I saw him reaching
for a full bag of lemons in the kitchen.
He started cutting a green lemon in half
and I asked:
-
What's that?
-
He gave me a sliced
half and said: Here, try it! (He probably
just wanted to see my lemon face lol...)
-
And I said: Wow, I
looove it!
Since then, it's been my favorite
fruit of all time: Lemons! :)
Lemons are are
pretty ordinary... but... Brazil actually
has alot of other unique and deliscious fruits!
Have you tried
any of them? Here are some good ones:

Tip: An interesting
I noticed was how much MORE vitamin C there
was in Guavas, compared to
any of the sterotypical vitamin C fruits!
Just a 1/2 cup of Guava for example has almost
3x more vitamin C than a medium orange!
On
"The Vegan Survival Guide" we
also included detailed nutrient charts
for food ingredients, so you'll learn
how to get the most from each of them! There
are also 5 unique categories, so we learn
how to maximize our meals with everyday plant
based ingredients to feed our Brain,
Immune, Body, Detox and Soul.
As Hippocrates once said,
"Let food be thy medicine and medicine
be thy food."
I also
loved getting mangos from the yard.
We had 3 mango trees, and so many mangos that
we sold them to the whole neighborhood:
How about you... what's
your favorite fruit? Have you tried Brazilian
Açai?

Are
you or a loved one fighting cancer? Here are big lessons I learned from german scientist Dr. Johanna Budwig plus anti-cancer Dr. Gene Wei. Tip: Vegans can learn anti-cancer recipes and simply
replace the cottage cheese for
organic vegan yogurt.
