Budwig's
Cream Tart
Ingredients
for 1 serving:
- 1
tablespoon
Dr. Budwig's flax oil/omega-3
oil of your choice
- 150
g low-fat quark (or
cottage cheese)
- 2
teaspoons
honey
- 1
level teaspoon agar
(jelly-like substance, obtained
from algae)
- 3
fresh strawberries
- 1
tablespoon
fresh shredded nuts
(create a mix with nuts such as
yellow and brown flax seeds, sunflower
seeds, wheat germ and tiger nuts)
plus
cinnamon and
vanilla
- 1-2
tablespoons lime juice
- 1
tablespoon chopped pistachios
- 1
pinch of cocoa
Preparation:
Prepare
the low-fat quark/cottage
cheese with your omega-3
oil, honey and agar
by mixing them with a hand mixer into
a smooth solid cream.
Dice
2 strawberries finely
and add into the cream. Put the cream
on the fridge! Cut the remaining strawberry
into thin slices and set
aside.
In
the meantime, grab a molding cup (around
3 inches diameter) and put it on a
plate. Add your fresh
shredded nuts
and sprinkle with lime juice.
Press all easily!
Now
add the smooth and cold cheese
and oil mixture into the
molding cup on top of the shredded
nuts, and end by dusting with cocoa.
Remove the molding cup carefully.
Sprinkle with pistachios and
serve garnished with strawberry
slices. Family and friends
will love this delicious and nutritious
creamy tart!
